How VoiceMoat works, what audenAI does, plans and billing, publishing, and how we handle your data. Still stuck? The founder reads every email.
Getting started
The basics
How does VoiceMoat work?
You connect your Twitter or LinkedIn account, and audenAI trains on your own posts (up to 200, depending on your plan) across 10 signals of voice. From then on it drafts posts, threads, and replies in your register, with a voice match score on every generation. It covers Twitter and LinkedIn.
How long does voice training take?
Under a minute to kick off. audenAI reads your recent profile and builds your Voice Lab, which you can refine any time. You don’t upload a corpus or fill out a brand-voice questionnaire; it learns from what you’ve already published.
Do I need to install anything?
No. VoiceMoat runs in your browser dashboard. The Chrome extension is optional on Twitter, where it brings voice-matched replying right into your feed, and strongly recommended on LinkedIn, where it powers voice training, home-feed discovery, and analytics from your own logged-in session.
Is there a trial?
Yes, a paid one: $1 for 3 days at Creator level or $5 for 7 days at Pro level, card required. It converts to your chosen plan when it ends unless you cancel first. There’s also a bare free tier with a small daily allotment. See pricing for current plans and limits.
Voice and audenAI
How the voice model works
What is audenAI?
audenAI is the writing partner inside VoiceMoat, trained per-user on your full profile across 10 signals of voice. It isn’t a generic assistant with your name pasted on top. It drafts in your register and scores every draft against your own baseline.
What is a voice match score?
A 0 to 100 number shown on every generation, measuring how close a draft is to your established voice. It’s not a vibe check. If a draft falls below your threshold, it’s flagged before you publish so nothing off-voice slips out.
Is this voice cloning?
No. VoiceMoat is a writing product. audenAI learns your writing patterns (rhythm, vocabulary, hooks, structure, tone, punctuation, and more) so drafts read like you. You still supply the thought and make the final call. It scales your voice; it doesn’t impersonate you.
Will my writing be used to train shared models?
Never. Your posts, voice profile, and generated content are not used to train shared models, improve other customers’ experiences, or sold to third parties. Your writing is yours.
Plans and billing
Pricing, payments, cancellation
What plans are available?
A free tier plus paid plans with higher limits and deeper features. Current tiers, limits, and prices live on the pricing page, which is always the source of truth.
How does billing work?
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. Dodo’s legal entity appears on your card statement rather than ours, and Dodo collects and files applicable sales tax, VAT, and GST on each transaction. Your checkout receipt reflects this.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel any time and your access continues until the end of the billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.
What are the free plan limits?
Free accounts get a small daily allotment (currently 3 posts and 10 replies per day, from a pool of 10 daily credits). Paid plans raise those limits substantially. See pricing for the current numbers.
Publishing and the extension
Getting posts out the door
Which platforms are supported?
Twitter and LinkedIn. We’d rather do text-first platforms deeply, where your writing is the whole product, than serve many platforms shallowly.
Can VoiceMoat schedule posts?
Yes. Set a per-profile schedule (timezone, daily goal, and time slots) on both Twitter and LinkedIn. Plain Twitter posts open a confirm window for you; threads, media, and LinkedIn posts publish directly at their scheduled time.
Does it post automatically without me?
Only what you’ve written and approved goes out. There are no auto-reply blasts, auto-DMs, or follow/unfollow loops. Nothing goes out on autopilot without your action, by design.
What does the Chrome extension do?
On Twitter it is a reply coach on every post, drafting replies in your voice without leaving the site. On LinkedIn it harvests your own posts, home feed, and analytics from your logged-in session. It never posts on LinkedIn for you.
Privacy and security
Your data
Where is my data stored?
On Supabase managed Postgres with row-level security, so you can only access your own data. Everything is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). OAuth tokens are stored securely and never exposed through our API.
How do I delete my account?
From the Settings page. Your voice profiles, drafts, and analytics are hard-deleted within 30 days, and an export is available beforehand if you want your data back first.
Do you sell my data or run ad trackers?
No. We don’t use advertising or cross-site ad-targeting cookies, we don’t sell your data, and we don’t build shadow profiles. See the cookie policy for the full list of what we set and why.
How do I report a security issue?
Email founder@voicemoat.com. We respond quickly, under 24 hours on weekdays. Good-faith researchers get safe harbor within the scope of our security policy.
