What is an MCP

An MCP connects your Twitter and LinkedIn to your AI assistant.

MCP is the Model Context Protocol, the open standard that lets an AI assistant use real tools instead of guessing. The VoiceMoat MCP server hands your assistant fifteen of ours: read your trained voice, draft in it, score the draft against how you actually write, schedule, publish, and read your numbers back.

It runs on your own VoiceMoat account, through the Twitter and LinkedIn integrations you already connected. Your assistant calls a tool, VoiceMoat does the work, and your trained voice is what it is all measured against.

Your social logins are never handed over. Your assistant receives a token for VoiceMoat and nothing else. Your Twitter and LinkedIn access tokens stay on our side, and are only ever used by us, to do the thing you asked for.

What is the VoiceMoat MCP?
MCP is the Model Context Protocol, the open standard that lets an AI assistant use real tools instead of guessing. The VoiceMoat MCP server gives your assistant fifteen of ours: your trained voice, your posts, your numbers, what other creators are posting, drafting, voice scoring, and posting to Twitter or LinkedIn. It is the same audenAI that powers Content Studio, reached from wherever you already work.
Which assistants work with it?
Anything that speaks MCP over HTTP, including Claude, Claude Code and ChatGPT. You add one address: https://voicemoat.com/api/mcp. There is no key to paste and nothing to run on your machine.
Can it post something without me seeing it?
Our side never posts on a first call. publish_post and schedule_post return a preview and a one-time code, and only a second call carrying that code acts. The code is tied to you, the account and the exact text, so changing a word refuses it, and it is spent after one use. What that cannot do is force your assistant to show you the preview. Most assistants ask your permission before running a tool that posts, and that prompt is the thing that actually puts you in the loop. If yours offers the setting, leave it on.
Which plan do I need?
Pro and Enterprise. A Pro trial does not include it. You can still connect on any plan: the tools refuse with a plain explanation of what is missing, and the moment you upgrade they start working with no need to reconnect.
Does my assistant see my Twitter or LinkedIn login?
No. Your assistant receives a token for VoiceMoat and nothing else. Your Twitter and LinkedIn access tokens stay on our side and are only ever used by us, to do the thing you asked for. You sign in on our own screen when you connect, not on a third party’s.
Does it work for LinkedIn analytics?
Yes. get_analytics and list_postsread your LinkedIn impressions, reactions, comments and shares. Those numbers are collected by the VoiceMoat browser extension rather than by LinkedIn’s API, so they are as fresh as your last sync, and the tools tell your assistant when that was. An unsynced account is reported as unsynced, never as a quiet week.
Does a scheduled post go out at exactly the time I ask for?
Close, but not to the minute. Every queued post is shifted by up to seven minutes either way, at random, so your posts do not land on round minutes like everyone else’s. The queue is the same one the dashboard uses, so anything scheduled here shows up there.
What will it never do?
Reach any account but your own, read or reply to anyone else’s posts, comments or messages, delete anything, or change your voice settings or your plan.
How do I disconnect it?
Remove the connector in your assistant. That is where the connection is made and it is where it ends. VoiceMoat deliberately has no disconnect button, because the grant does not live here, and a button that looked like it worked without doing anything would be worse than not having one.
