We sell a LinkedIn writing tool, so weigh this accordingly. VoiceMoat competes with everything on this page, and it appears here with its own prices alongside the rest. ‼️ So every figure below was read off the vendor's own pricing page and is linked, and you can check the arithmetic yourself. No capability is attributed to any tool unless it appears on that tool's own page. Where we could not verify something, it is not here.
What does Taplio actually cost?
Quick answer
Taplio lists three plans. Starter is $39 a month billed monthly and $32 billed yearly, Growth is $69 and $49, and Pro is $199 and $149. The trial is 7 days with full Pro access. ‼️ The Pro card does not agree with itself, and the gap is $600 a year.
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed yearly | Annual total Taplio states |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $39/mo | $32/mo | "Cancel anytime, $384 billed annually" ✅ $32 x 12 = $384 |
| Growth | $69/mo | $49/mo | "Cancel anytime, $588 billed annually" ✅ $49 x 12 = $588 |
| Pro | $199/mo | $149/mo | ‼️ "Cancel anytime, $1,188 billed annually". $149 x 12 = $1,788 |
- ‼️ Two of the three tiers reconcile and the third does not. Starter and Growth multiply out exactly. Pro is stated at $149 a month billed yearly, on a card that also says $1,188 billed annually. Those cannot both be right, and $1,188 divided by twelve is $99.
- We cannot tell you which figure is the real one, only that Taplio's own page carries both. If you are buying Pro annually, get the number confirmed in writing before you pay.
- ⚠️ Taplio's pricing page renders no prices at all in a browser. The plan cards do not load. Every figure above came from the page's own underlying data, where each one carries a named label such as `proAnnualBilling`, so the mapping of plan to price is Taplio's own rather than our guess.
- The trial is 7 days and Taplio describes it as full Pro access. That is unusually generous in this category, where trials often sit on the entry tier.
- Taplio's Chrome extension is free and its own FAQ says it works without a Taplio plan.

Supergrow
Quick answer
Supergrow is $19 a month for Starter, $39 for Pro and $139 for Teams, which includes four accounts. Its own page says annual billing takes 20% off every plan. ‼️ On Teams that does not hold: it lists $133 a month, and 20% off $139 is $111.20.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual, as Supergrow states it | 20% of the monthly price would be |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $19/mo | $16/mo | $15.20 |
| Pro | $39/mo | $31/mo | $31.20 |
| Teams, 4 accounts | $139/mo | ‼️ $133/mo | $111.20 |
- Starter and Pro are within pennies of a straight 20%, rounded one way and then the other. Teams is not: $133 is about four percent off, not twenty.
- What its own page says it does: "AI interviews, Content DNA, and repurposing in one workspace", "Calendar, queue, and first-comment scheduling", post repurposing from YouTube, articles and PDFs, and managing multiple client voices from one workspace.
- ‼️ The genuine strength, stated plainly: it is the only tool of the four whose entry price is below Taplio's and which still includes an AI writing workflow rather than an editor. If the reason you are leaving Taplio is the $39 entry, this is the closest like-for-like.
- The team plan is the clearest fit. Four accounts at $139 works out at $34.75 an account, which is cheaper per person than most of this category, and the multiple-client workspace is aimed at exactly that.
- ⚠️ We have not tested the output of any tool on this page, Supergrow included, and no claim about quality appears here.

AuthoredUp
Quick answer
AuthoredUp is $19.95 a month for one profile, or $16.63 a month billed at $199.50 a year. Its Business plan is $14.95 per profile for three or more. ‼️ It is the only tool here whose monthly and annual figures reconcile exactly, and it is an editor rather than an AI writer.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual | Does it reconcile? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Individual, 1 profile | $19.95/mo | $16.63/mo, billed at $199.50/year | ✅ $16.63 x 12 = $199.56 |
| Business, 3+ profiles | $14.95 per profile/mo | $12.46 per profile/mo, billed at $149.50/year | ✅ $12.46 x 12 = $149.52 |
- ‼️ This is not a like-for-like Taplio replacement, and pretending otherwise would be the easy mistake. Its own page describes an editor with text styling and preview, unlimited drafts and snippets, analytics, and "300+ hooks and post endings". It does not advertise itself as an AI post generator.
- So the honest framing is a swap, not an upgrade: if what you actually used Taplio for was formatting, previewing and tracking posts you write yourself, this does that job for half the price.
- ‼️ If what you used Taplio for was the writing, this does not replace it. Read the feature list on its own page before assuming otherwise.
- The arithmetic being clean is worth something in this category. Of the four vendors priced on this page, AuthoredUp is the only one where every stated annual figure multiplies out to the stated annual total.

Kleo
Quick answer
Kleo is $99 a month, or $999 for a year. Its page states the normal annual price as $1,188, which is exactly twelve months at $99, so the annual bundle is a genuine saving of $189. It is the most expensive option here by some distance.
- The arithmetic checks out. $99 twelve times is $1,188, which is the "normally" figure Kleo prints. The $999 bundle saves $189 against that.
- ⚠️ The page describes this as "2 free months". Two months at $99 would be $198, and the actual saving is $189, so the bundle is a little under two months rather than a little over. The difference is $9 and we mention it only because this page is about checking the arithmetic.
- What its own page says it includes: unlimited post generation, "160+ plug and play post templates", "170+ top-performing post swipes", a 30-day posting plan template, and a "1:1 private onboarding call".
- ‼️ The onboarding call is the thing that explains the price. At $99 a month against Supergrow's $19, you are not buying five times the software. You are buying a person, a template library and a plan. Whether that is worth $80 a month is a judgement about how much you need the structure rather than the tool.

VoiceMoat, which we make
Quick answer
We make this one, so treat what follows accordingly. VoiceMoat is $35 a month for Creator, $69 for Pro and $150 for Enterprise, with annual billed once at ten times the monthly price, so two months are free. There is a free tier at 10 credits a day.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual | Credits a day |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 10 |
| Creator | $35/mo | $350/year | 150 |
| Pro | $69/mo | $690/year | 250 |
| Enterprise | $150/mo | $1,500/year | 400 |
- Our entry price is not the cheapest here. Supergrow at $19 and AuthoredUp at $19.95 are both below it. If entry price is the whole decision, they win it.
- Where we differ from Taplio on cost is the annual maths, and only because ours is deliberately dull: annual is ten times monthly, so it always multiplies out. That is not a feature, it is just arithmetic we cannot get wrong.
- ‼️ Who this does not suit: we are focused on Twitter and LinkedIn. If you need Instagram, Threads or Bluesky in the same tool, we are the wrong answer and one of the broader schedulers is the right one.
- The free tier is honest about its job. It exists to keep an account alive after a trial at 10 credits a day, not to run a daily posting habit. It is not a free alternative to a $39 tool and we are not going to pretend it is.
- The comparison we would actually make is at VoiceMoat vs Taplio, and the three-way against Supergrow is at Supergrow vs Taplio vs VoiceMoat.

Shield is on every list, and it has shut down
Quick answer
Shield, the LinkedIn analytics tool running since 2018, is winding down. Its site now carries a notice from its two co-founders. It still appears on published lists of LinkedIn tools, which is a good reason to check that anything recommended to you still exists before you plan around it.
- ‼️ The notice gives a reason, and it is worth reading if you buy tools in this category: "Both Google and LinkedIn made it clear that we could not continue operating Shield as it was built. We decided not to fight it."
- It ran for seven years. The notice says "Since 2018, Shield has helped people understand the work they were doing on LinkedIn."
- ‼️ This is the platform-dependency risk in its plainest form. A tool in this category does not control the surface it reads from, and when the platform's position changes the tool changes with it, or stops.
- The practical read: before committing to an annual plan on any LinkedIn tool, open the vendor's own site and check it is still trading. That takes ten seconds and it is the single cheapest check on this page.
- ⚠️ The notice carries no date, so we can only tell you it was live when we read it on 27 August 2026.
The same pattern, on a different platform and with dates attached, is in our social media tools answers under whether a tool will still support the platform you need next year.

What these actually cost side by side
Quick answer
At one person paying monthly, the spread runs from $19.95 to $199, and the tools at either end are not doing the same job. The entry price is only a useful comparison between tools that write for you, which narrows it to Taplio, Supergrow, Kleo and us.
| Tool | Entry, monthly | Entry, annual | What that tier is |
|---|---|---|---|
| AuthoredUp | $19.95 | $16.63/mo | Editor, analytics, not an AI writer |
| Supergrow | $19 | $16/mo | AI writing workflow |
| VoiceMoat, ours | $35 | $29.17/mo ($350/yr) | AI writing, Twitter and LinkedIn |
| Taplio | $39 | $32/mo | AI writing, all-in-one LinkedIn |
| Kleo | $99 | $83.25/mo ($999/yr) | AI writing plus onboarding call |
- ‼️ The cheapest row is the one that does a different job. AuthoredUp at $19.95 is not competing with Taplio at $39 on writing, and a table that ranks them together without saying so is the reason these lists are hard to trust.
- Among tools that write for you, Supergrow at $19 is the floor and Kleo at $99 is the ceiling, a five-fold spread on tools that all describe themselves as LinkedIn content engines.
- Annual saves between 12% and 20% depending on the vendor, and the discount is not consistent within a vendor's own range. Supergrow's is 20% on two tiers and about 4% on the third.
- ⚠️ Every number in this table is an entry tier. Caps on posts, accounts and profiles differ, and the tier that fits you may not be the one priced here. Open the pricing page before you buy.
What this page could not answer
Several things were researched, could not be verified against something you can open, and are therefore not on this page rather than being included with a hedge.
- ‼️ Which of Taplio's two Pro annual figures is correct. Both are on its own card. We report the contradiction and stop there.
- Whether any of these tools is better than the others. We have not run them side by side, no published test exists that we could open, and no claim about output quality appears anywhere above.
- Any engagement, reach or growth figure. The numbers that circulate in this category come from vendor panels that cannot be independently checked, and none of them is repeated here.
- When Shield's wind-down notice went up. It carries no date, and web archive snapshots are not reachable from our tooling, so we can only say it was live on 27 August 2026.
- ⚠️ Prices change. Every figure here was read off the vendor's own pricing page on 27 August 2026, and vendors move prices, rename tiers and change what a plan includes without notice.
- We sell a competing tool, which is why this page gives you each vendor's own numbers and the arithmetic rather than a verdict.
