Paste any public URL. This LinkedIn post inspector reads the page the way a crawler does, lists the Open Graph tags LinkedIn looks for, flags what is missing, and shows the card your post will carry. Free, and no LinkedIn login needed.
LinkedIn keeps a copy of each link's preview. After you fix your tags, paste the link into LinkedIn's own Post Inspector so it reads the page again.
audenAI drafts the LinkedIn post that shares your link, in your voice, so the words earn the click the card promises.

three steps
A link in, the card out.
What a LinkedIn post inspector actually checks
When you paste a link into a LinkedIn post, LinkedIn does not show your page. It shows a card built from a few tags in your page's code. LinkedIn's help center names four Open Graph tags that must exist: og:title, og:description, og:image and og:url. When they are missing, LinkedIn falls back to its own guesses about the page, and the guess is often a stray logo or a cut-off sentence. This LinkedIn post inspector tool reads those four tags, shows you each value, and tells you plainly which ones are missing.
LinkedIn's image rules, in its own words
Minimum size: 1200 x 627 pixels.
Ratio: 1.91:1 is the recommended shape.
File size: 5 MB at most.
Narrow images shrink: anything less than 401 pixels wide shows as a small thumbnail instead of a full card.
Square and vertical images might be cropped.
LinkedIn publishes no length limit for the title or description, so we do not invent one. You see your text exactly as the page serves it and can judge how it reads in a card. If your image meets the rules and still does not appear, LinkedIn says your site may be blocking it from pulling the image, or the image sits in a protected folder.
Our inspector vs LinkedIn's Post Inspector
LinkedIn has its own free tool at linkedin.com/post-inspector. They do different jobs, so here is the honest split:
Ours: no login. It shows the raw tags, flags what is missing, checks the image size, and previews both the LinkedIn card and the Twitter card for the same link, so one check covers both platforms.
LinkedIn's: asks you to sign in before it inspects a link. It shows the data LinkedIn has stored about your page, when it last updated it, and lets you request a re-scrape.
That last part matters: only LinkedIn's tool can refresh LinkedIn's copy of your page. If you fixed your tags and LinkedIn still shows the old image, run the link through LinkedIn's Post Inspector. LinkedIn notes the refresh only applies to new posts that include the link. Posts already published keep their old preview.
Fix the preview in this order
No image: add og:image with a full, public URL to an image of at least 1200 x 627.
Wrong title or text: set og:title and og:description yourself instead of leaving LinkedIn to guess.
Old preview after a fix: confirm the tags here, then refresh in LinkedIn's Post Inspector before you post again.
Sharing on Twitter too: Twitter reads its own twitter: tags first. Our Twitter card validator checks them, and the link preview checker lists every tag on the page at once.
Need the right dimensions for everything else you post? The LinkedIn image size guide covers every slot, from link cards to banners.
The card gets the click. The post earns the read.
A clean preview makes your link look worth opening. The words above it decide whether anyone stops long enough to see it. That is the part VoiceMoat is built for. audenAI, the brain inside VoiceMoat, learns from your own content and drafts the LinkedIn post around your link in your voice, so the post reads like you and not like a press release. See how Studio drafts posts, then schedule them for when your audience is around.
