What worked, and more of it

Work out what your best-performing posts have in common, and turn that into what to write next.

Why use it

The useful version of this is specific to your actual posts. General content advice is free everywhere and worth what it costs.

What it does

It sorts out what is actually comparable first, working in engagement per impression rather than raw counts, keeping formats apart and setting aside outliers. Then it compares your top few against your bottom few and reports what the winners share.

What you get

  • Rate, not raw count, so a big post is not automatically a good post
  • Formats compared like with like
  • An honest read on strength: three posts is a hint, ten is a pattern
  • Three to five specific things to write next, in the shape that worked

What it will not do

It will not invent a number you did not give it, and it will tell you when there is no pattern rather than manufacturing one from four posts.

What changes when VoiceMoat is connected

Everything above works from pasted numbers. Connected, steps one and two stop being manual.

  • get_analytics Returns impressions, reactions, replies and post count for a window you choose, with no pasting.
  • list_posts Returns the actual best performers for that window, including the ones you would not have thought to paste.
  • get_post Returns the full text and exact figures for any single post.

LinkedIn's post analytics API is gated behind its Community Management partner programme, which we have not been approved for, so those figures arrive through the VoiceMoat browser extension and are only as fresh as its last run. The tools return the last sync date, so a quiet week reads correctly as an unsynced account rather than a bad week.

Power up with VoiceMoat

The connector needs a Pro or Enterprise plan. It works the same way in Claude and in ChatGPT, on both Twitter and LinkedIn.
