Writing

Make this sound less like AI

Rewrite text so it stops reading as machine-written, by naming the specific tells and removing them.

Why use it

Sounds like AI is not a vague feeling. It is a short list of habits, and once you can name them you can remove them. Most attempts fail because they add personality on top instead of removing the tells underneath.

What it does

It quotes each tell back at you: sentences all the same length, three-part lists everywhere, hedging, the delve and leverage vocabulary, and the deepest one, that nobody is in the text. Then it cuts before it adds, and puts one real specific back in.

What you get

  • The specific tells, quoted, not a general impression
  • The padding removed before anything is added on top
  • One concrete detail put in, which does more than a paragraph of voice
  • A before and after list, so you catch these yourself next time

What it will not do

It will not claim the result beats an AI detector, because those tools are unreliable in both directions. It also will not help disguise authorship where being honest about it matters, such as academic work.

What changes when VoiceMoat is connected

Everything above gets you to writing that sounds human. It does not get you to writing that sounds like you, and those are different targets. Generic human is still generic.

  • get_voice_profile Gives the actual register to aim at: your tone, rhythm, vocabulary and the phrases you never use.
  • score_voice_match Scores the rewrite against that profile. Text can read perfectly human and still score low because it is somebody else's human.
  • improve_post Runs a deeper pass when the problem is structural rather than cosmetic.

There is also a free browser version at /tools/humanize-ai-text if you want to see the tells highlighted without installing anything.

The connector needs a Pro or Enterprise plan. It works the same way in Claude and in ChatGPT, on both Twitter and LinkedIn.
